What's PlayhouseDFW actually like? Worth the application process?
I keep hearing about PlayhouseDFW being the 'most exclusive' club in Dallas. Is it really that much better than Colette or Eden? The application process seems intense. Is it worth the hassle?

PlayhouseDFW is a different animal entirely. Yes, the application process is real — you submit photos, answer questions, and the membership committee reviews you. Not everyone gets in. But the payoff is that the crowd is incredibly curated. Every couple there has been vetted, so the quality of interactions is consistently high. The events are hosted at different upscale venues around DFW, not a fixed location. Think private estate parties, boutique hotel takeovers, and themed events with serious production value. It's not 'better' than Colette — it's a different experience. Colette is a great club you can drop into any weekend. Playhouse is a curated event you plan around.

We applied and got in after about 2 weeks. The vetting felt thorough but not invasive. Totally worth it. The parties are intimate (usually 30-60 couples), everyone is attractive and well-groomed, and there's a real sense of community. We still go to Colette for regular weekends, but Playhouse events are the highlight of our month.
