We split time between Dallas and Houston for work. Which city has the better lifestyle scene? More clubs? More events? Better crowd? We've only been to Colette Dallas so far and loved it.

Having lived in both cities, DFW wins on sheer volume of options. You've got Colette Dallas, The Velvet Curtain, Club Eden, Infliction Hall if you're kink-curious, and PlayhouseDFW for the exclusive crowd. Plus the hotel takeover events like the Decadence Ball are top-tier. Houston has great clubs too — Colette Houston and The Pendulum Club are solid — but the scene is a bit more spread out geographically and there are fewer large-scale events. That said, Houston's scene is very friendly and a bit more laid-back than Dallas. The crowd at Pendulum Club on a Saturday can be just as fun as anything in DFW.

Dallas for variety, Houston for warmth. The DFW metroplex has more clubs and more events, period. But Houston couples are some of the most genuine, welcoming people we've met in the lifestyle. If you're already doing Colette Dallas, try Colette Houston next time you're down there — same chain but surprisingly different vibes. Houston's location feels more intimate.
